For many years, NOCS members have enjoyed an in-store discount at our local bike shops. While that chapter is coming to a close, what replaces it is more impactful, more sustainable, and more directly tied to the trails we all ride. This update reflects the growth of the club and the need for a more sustainable way to fund trail building and maintenance.
Turning Everyday Purchases into Trail Support
Beginning in 2026, NOCS members will take part in a 5% Member Rebate Program. When members purchase qualifying cycling products at Olympia Cycle & Ski, Skyride, or Sun Country Cycle, 5% of those purchases are returned directly to NOCS to support trail building, maintenance, and advocacy. (Excludes bikes, car racks, and service parts.)
Members simply show their current NOCS membership in the Hive Pass app at checkout — every qualifying purchase becomes a direct investment in our trails.
Transparency You Can See
NOCS will share updates throughout the year showing how much funding has been generated, clearly linking local shopping to real trail work.
March Is NOCS Members Month
In March, active members receive an enhanced 10% benefit, with the choice to:
• Use it as a 10% in-store discount, or
• Direct the full 10% back to NOCS as additional trail support
Additional Support from Local Shops
Beyond the rebate program, each participating shop is contributing $1,000 in direct cash support to the Trail Ninjas program.
Why This Matters
This partnership strengthens the connection between members, local bike shops, and the trails that define our riding community, ensuring money spent locally stays local and supports long-term trail stewardship.
